management may help firms save money and improve customer experience by streamlining their supply
chain.
Raw materials are collected and transported to the ultimate destination as part of the logistics
management process. It's no coincidence that the word "logistics" comes from a Greek word that may
indicate anything from ratio to math to reasoning.
